The choke variants manufactured by Krieghoff are briefly described:

Krieghoff Factory thread (steel and titanium versions)

Suitable for all K-80 and K-20 models supplied ex works with interchangeable chokes, except course versions. Thin-walled, flush-mounted interchangeable chokes are available for the course versions, the so-called thin-wall chokes (standard thread).

Krieghoff Thin-Wall (KTW) standard thread (steel versions)

Suitable for K-80/K-20 Parcours versions as well as other K-80/K-20 barrels, which were originally manufactured as a fixed choke but were then converted with interchangeable chokes.

In some cases it can also occur in third-party products in which we have subsequently installed interchangeable chokes. Whether the standard thread (previously known as "S-K" thread) or the less common "S-V" thread was used depends on various factors. Please note the marking on your replacement choke or contact us.

Krieghoff Thin-Wall (KTW) SV thread (steel versions)

Partially suitable for third-party models where we have subsequently installed interchangeable chokes. Whether the standard thread (previously known as "S-K" thread) or the less common "S-V" thread was used depends on various factors. Please note the marking on your replacement choke or contact us.

All of our chokes are generally suitable for steel shot. However, the restrictions regarding choke taper and steel shot size must be taken into account.
