125 years anniversary gun
Krieghoff presents The 125th Anniversary K-80 “Waters of the Chesapeake”.
All internal parts of the lock are gold plated complementing the
exquisite engraving. Engraving of this masterpiece has been done by the engravers of Creative Art.
Pictured is a unique composition of pintail and mallard ducks in their native Chesapeake Bay waterscape, an area known as a premier waterfowl hunting destination. The background has been completely laid out with gold – a total of 32grams (1 ounce) of gold has been used.
Waterfowl scenes with ornamental accents are engraved in Bulino style, using over 100.000 micro-dots to make the animals come alive. A myriad of hidden details keep on surprising the viewer over and over. The golden water lilies inletted in relief style are an attractive highlight and are perfectly complemented with discreet accents of inlaid blue enamel blossoms.
The delicate pierced top lever and nitrated receiver complete the composition.
